Student growth is our first priority when it comes to academics. Our dedicated teachers meet students where they are and work diligently to get them to where they need to be and beyond. St. Michael is fully accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools. We teach and differentiate through a wide variety of sources, including IXL, Reading A-Z, NWEA standardized testing, Prodigy Math and our WIN (What I Need) time, an intervention program.
Our students benefit from technology seamlessly integrated into the classroom, including SMARTboards and a Redcat speaker system in each classroom. Online support subscriptions to McGraw-Hill Math and !Ready ELA offer supplemental instructional options that students find engaging and effective.
Small class sizes allow our teachers to get to know students’ personalities, strengths and learning styles to better reach them. As evidence of the exceptional preparation offered at St. Michael School, many of our alumni graduate in the top 10 of their high school classes.
Each classroom is equipped with a SMARTboard and a Redcat speaker system. Students benefit from a 1:1 Chromebook ratio.
An 11:1 student-teacher ratio allows for individualized instruction to ensure each student can reach his or her fullest potential.
Our teachers keep students engaged with a variety of learning platforms, including online supplemental programs.
